Savior Redeemer of My Soul

There is no doubt that this is still my favorite song. The first time I heard this is in Korea days and it really caught my attention when I heard this during a Zone Conference. I t really touched me and felt the Savior's love. After 4 years, every time I listen to this beautiful song, memories flashes back and understanding more to the atonement of Jesus Christ. It even makes me emotional. Savior Redeemer of my soul, whose mighty hands hath made me whole. Whose wondrous pow'r hath raise me up and filled me sweet my bitter cup.

It's been forever!

First off, I truly apologize for not updating this blog forever! So to start off, I will graduate next year March. Yes! I am taking a bachelor degree in Information technology in a small college in our town. I just can't wait for my graduation but of course there are lot of things that I need to do, but because of my mission, I learned how to manage things and organize everything.

I really miss Korea and every single person I met especially the Korean members and of course my mission companions. They are the reason why my mission was successful. I know this is kinda weird but I have some dreams at night about my mission. I remember at one night, I had a dreamed that I was visiting a Zone Conference in Seoul and President Lee was there. In my dream, he saw me and gave me a hug. My eyes were like waterfall because of the emotion then I realized that it was only a dream. I can't wait to see the people I have met. I heard that most of my companions are now married and I am 100% sure that I can find that right girl for me :D. President and Sister Christensen got home almost a year and it was weird. I felt that I just met them yesterday. President Lee and Sister Han are now serving as the Seoul temple President and matron.

There are lot of things changed here. Robin left last year for BYU Hawaii. My two sisters left last month to Dubai. I feel that I'm alone but I know that the Lord will help me in this lonely times. I am still happy though that I have my parents with me. I am currently serving as a clerk in our ward for almost 3 years and still loving my calling. I am hoping that I will meet that right girl for me someday which I actually know her.

I realized that it's been 4 months since I came home. I still think of my mission and Korea especially the people that I met and loved. It's been really amazing to serve mission. Every time before I retire to bed, my mind always flashes back the last 2 years of my life. My mission in Korea is unforgettable and it's my pearl of great price. My heart and my mind is still in service. My mission has a great impact now in my life. The way I think, the goals that I planned are all inspired from those 2 years.

I wish I can go back there as a missionary but of course, you can't force the time to come back. I remember my last interview to my Mission President. He said that being a missionary is always crossing on the the hole of a needle but fun. I know that one happened to me. I learned so much from it. I think the best thing that I learned is love one another and charity. When I was on the plane, my emotions were mix. Half of my mind was still in Korea. It was tough. I honestly sobbed.

I want to share the scripture that really sticked in my mind and my heart. It's from the book of 2nd Nephi chapter 4. In this chapter, Lehi blesses his posterity and dies. Nephi shared about trusting the Lord. It says:


 20 My God hath been my support; he hath led me through mine afflictions in the wilderness; and he hath preserved me upon the waters of the great deep.

 21 He hath filled me with his love, even unto the consuming of my flesh.


23 Behold, he hath heard my cry by day, and he hath given me aknowledge by bvisions in the night-time.

 24 And by day have I waxed bold in mighty prayer before him; yea, my voice have I sent up on high; and angels came down and ministered unto me.

 25 And upon the wings of his Spirit hath my body been carried away upon exceedingly high mountains. And mine eyes have beheld great things, yea, even too great for man; therefore I was bidden that I should not write them.

29 Do not anger again because of mine enemies. Do not slacken my strength because of mine afflictions.

 30 Rejoice, O my heart, and cry unto the Lord, and say: O Lord, I will praise thee forever; yea, my soul will rejoice in thee, my God, and the rock of my salvation.

I had a hard time in learning everything, the language, culture, everything but Heavenly Father didn't leave me in those sad days of my mission. I know that He lives! I know now why God sent me to Korea. I can't even write it because it keeps hiding in my heart. I realized why He sent me there to preach the gospel. It is a wonderful blessing for me and I'm grateful for that opportunity to be the part of His plan. To invite the Korean people to come unto Christ. To help them receive the restored gospel through faith in Jesus Christ and His atonement, repentance, baptism, receiving the Gift of the Holy Ghost and enduring to the end. My time in Korea got ended. I will miss it. 사랑하고 고맙습니다. 안녕히 계세요.

Wow! It's been a month since I came home from my mission. My first week after 2 years was the most boring ever. My mind is still in Korea and missionary work, finding my companion, the language, culture. I got released on the 16th of September so I had a chance to give my homecoming talk still as a missionary. It was weird!

I love my mission. It's the best 2 years of my life. Korea Seoul Mission is the best!

Hello My dear Family!!!

The time has come. I can still remember my first email to you guys and now this is my final email to all of you as a missionary. I can't believe that my mission is almost over. 

It's a really fun to think that I'm going home, seeing you guys after 2 years and going back to my normal life but of course it's also sad to think about it. I will miss these things waking up at 6:30 in the morning, having a personal study from 8-9am, language study from 10-11am, lunch at 11 and begin to work at 12to9pm with dinner at 6pm, finding people to teach on the street, walking under the heat of the sun and blistering cold winter, testifying a lot about the gospel and wearing this nametag almost every single day. I can say more stuffs but their are ton. I'm really really grateful that I'm here in Korea as a missionary, as a representative of Jesus Christ, as a servant, as a helper. I want to share some scripture verses that I loved a lot during my mission. It's in 2 NEPHI 4:18-21: I remember

 18 I am encompassed about, because of the temptations and the sins which do so easily ^abeset me.

 19 And when I desire to rejoice, my heart groaneth because of my sins; nevertheless, I know in whom I have ^atrusted.

 20 My God hath been my ^asupport; he hath led me through mine^bafflictions in the wilderness; and he hath preserved me upon the waters of the great deep.

 21 He hath filled me with his ^alove, even unto the ^bconsuming of my flesh.

I learned these verses when I was in my 1st transfer here. I had a lot of hard time like learning Korean, missionary work and others but I knew that the Lord never ever left me in the times of trials and challenges, like Nephi and his family in the wilderness, I felt more the Savior's love for us. It has been an amazing experience! Missionary work is hard but it's worth it. I want to share a talk from Elder Jeffrey R. Holland: MISSIONARY WORK AND THE ATONEMENT:

Almost everything I have said here has been an aid directed toward the missionary process, ultimately toward the investigator. May I close with an extended testimony about how focusing on the Atonement helps full-time and member missionaries and mission leaders.

Anyone who does any kind of missionary work will have occasion to ask, Why is this so hard? Why doesn’t it go better? Why can’t our success be more rapid? Why aren’t there more people joining the Church? It is the truth. We believe in angels. We trust in miracles. Why don’t people just flock to the font? Why isn’t the only risk in missionary work that of pneumonia from being soaking wet all day and all night in the baptismal font?

You will have occasion to ask those questions. I have thought about this a great deal. I offer this as my personal feeling. I am convinced that missionary work is not easy because salvation is not a cheap experience.Salvation never was easy. We are The Church of Jesus Christ, this is the truth, and He is our Great Eternal Head. How could we believe it would be easy for us when it was never, ever easy for Him? It seems to me that missionaries and mission leaders have to spend at least a few moments in Gethsemane. Missionaries and mission leaders have to take at least a step or two toward the summit of Calvary.

Now, please don’t misunderstand. I’m not talking about anything anywhere near what Christ experienced. That would be presumptuous and sacrilegious. But I believe that missionaries and investigators, to come to the truth, to come to salvation, to know something of this price that has been paid, will have to pay a token of that same price.

For that reason I don’t believe missionary work has ever been easy, nor that conversion is, nor that retention is, nor that continued faithfulness is. I believe it is supposed to require some effort, something from the depths of our soul.

If He could come forward in the night, kneel down, fall on His face, bleed from every pore, and cry, “Abba, Father (Papa), if this cup can pass, let it pass,” ¹⁶ then little wonder that salvation is not a whimsical or easy thing for us. If you wonder if there isn’t an easier way, you should remember you are not the first one to ask that. Someone a lot greater and a lot grander asked a long time ago if there wasn’t an easier way.

The Atonement will carry the missionaries perhaps even more importantly than it will carry the investigators. When you struggle, when you are rejected, when you are spit upon and cast out and made a hiss and a byword, you are standing with the best life this world has ever known, the only pure and perfect life ever lived. You have reason to stand tall and be grateful that the Living Son of the Living God knows all about your sorrows and afflictions. The only way to salvation is through Gethsemane and on to Calvary. The only way to eternity is through Him—the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

I testify that the living God is our Eternal Father and that Jesus Christ is His living and Only Begotten Son in the flesh. I testify that this Jesus, who was slain and hanged on a tree, ¹⁷ was the chief Apostle then and is the chief Apostle now, the Great High Priest, the chief cornerstone of His Church in this last and greatest of all dispensations. I testify that He lives, that the whole triumph of the gospel is that He lives, and because He does, so will we.

On that first Resurrection Sunday, Mary Magdalene first thought she saw a gardener. Well, she did—the Gardener who cultivated Eden and who endured Gethsemane. The Gardener who gave us the rose of Sharon, the lily of the valley, the cedars of Lebanon, the tree of life.

I declare Him to be the Savior of the world, the Bishop and Shepherd of our souls, the Bright and Morning Star. I know that our garments can be washed white only in the blood of that Lamb, slain from the foundation of the world. I know that we are lifted up unto life because He was lifted up unto death, that He bore our griefs and carried our sorrows, and with His stripes we are healed. I bear witness that He was wounded for our transgressions and bruised for our iniquities, that He was a man of sorrows acquainted with grief because upon Him were laid the transgressions of us all. ¹⁸

I bear witness that He came from God as a God to bind up the brokenhearted, to dry the tears from every eye, to proclaim liberty to the captive and open the prison doors to them that are bound. ¹⁹ I promise that because of your faithful response to the call to spread the gospel, He will bind up your broken hearts, dry your tears, and set you and your families free. That is my missionary promise to you and your missionary message to the world.

I know that through the atonement of Jesus Christ, everyone can feel his love and can be happy in their life. It is important to think always how the Savior saved us than to think that he leaves us in the times of trials. I have a testimony about the atonement. Through the atonement of Christ, I can come to mission, I can repent and become converted to his gospel. I testify that the atonement is true. My mission has been the best experience ever in my life. I really really felt the power of atonement in my mission. I'm really really happy for this opportunity. I love my mission. I love my mission. I love my mission. I will always remember it. I will cherish the moments that I had in this 2 years. I have come to know more the Savior. I know HE LIVES! I know that this gospel is true. I know that Joseph Smith is a prophet of God, who called him to help to restore this glorious and wonderful gospel.

 For Dad and Mom, thank you so much for the support that you gave to me. Thank you for the sacrifice that you did for my mission. I know that you did everything for my mission. Mom, Dad, I love you with all of the sincerity of my heart. I missed you all so much. Kath, Kim, thank you for the prayers and for your love to me. I'm happy to see you all again on Friday. Last week of Elder Bacarro's last transfer...

We got a news from Elder Bacarro, He will arrive at Ninoy Aquino International Airport on September 14, 2012 at 10:40pm Manila time. We are all excited to see him after his two years mission from Korea. This is his email, the second to the last in his mission. Here are some of the pictures that he sent to us.

ELDER BACARRO'S last transfer's 4th week

Annyeong Haseyo my dear family. This is Elder Bacarro again from Korea Seoul Mission, reporting the events of my 4th week in this last leg. We got mild weather last week and lots of rain but toady is really nice, sunny but windy. Fall is coming soon.

We had our zone conference at Noryang-jin. I went to that church last January 7, 2011, my first morning here in Korea. I went there again last Thursday after 1 year to give my last talk for the mission. It was really weird to think sometimes that I'm going home soon but I'm really trying not to think about it. 4 of us gave our last talks. 2 sisters and 2 elders. I was on the 4th list. When I gave my talk, I talk in Tagalog for a minute and gave the rest of my talk in English. It was really emotional  and weird. I just shared basically what I learned as a missionary and shared some advises especially for the young missionaries. I'll give you a copy of my last talk next week so that you can read it guys. That moment was the most emotional part of my mission so far. I was sad that day too because it will be my last zone conference. Elder Noe, my last companion in Uijeongbu got extended for his mission, so he will not go home with us this September.

Yesterday was my last Stake conference in Korea. Our stake had a conference and our Mission President and wife gave their talks about pushing members to support the missionaries and doing missionary work. We were so happy to hear about that! It was a fun conference.

Last Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, I had splits for the last time with my Zone leaders. I went to their area and went to Gimpo to help the English class there cuz the Elders there are both Koreans. We slept at their house at night because we were to far to come back to Seoul and we didn't have much time to travel back. It was so cold and rainy at that day! I was so happy. I hate hot weather and humid now. I heard typhoon will come today here so..I don't know whats gonna happen. My shoes are totally hammered but I have another pair, I'll use them in my last week here.

I think that's all so far for the 4th week. We didn't get our travel plans. There's a chance that I'll arrive in NAIA at morning. Returning missionaries usually go at 10:40 am from Incheon airport. Our office sister told me that I'll be a lil bit early so maybe I'll be in Manila by 1pm of September 14? I'm not sure so I'll call the office about that. You have to get my itenerary in your email.

ELDER BACARRO'S LAST TRANSFER!!! Week 2

It's different here in Korea, so hot and humid!!! They got the hottest summer here for the last 13 years, we get 35-37 degrees here like in Philippines which is really weird. They usually get 30 degrees here during summer. Your lucky there coz you have rain, here is drought...They're pleading here for rain.




Well it was a hot and intense week! I was so happy that I got baptism in my last transfer. He's in Busan now to find his wife coz they had a lil bit of arguement. He's doing good and fine. I have some plans for this transfer coz it's my last one. I'll visit my recent converts and my areas. Members told me to visit them before I'll go home. It's really fun to know that members in my last areas really liked me. I'm still here in Bucheon, my last area with my same companion, Elder Messick. I'm still the district leader here so I'll still give trainings to missionaries every wednesday and doing some reports. It's good though for my english and pronunciation. My companion ios doing some countdown for me, the last one I heard was I only have 39 days which drives my head so bad. It's gonna be fun to see you guys again afetr 2 years. In next 2 weeks, we will have our zone conference so I'll give my last talk and testimony to the mission. Super weird.



Last time, we went to a local market in our area and we saw DOG MEAT!!! It was really groase and sad coz it's a dog...I just remember pooh, chuwie and pooh #2. We found some good investigators and lots of miracles here in our area. I'm really glad that my last transfer is doing good and smoothly. We found 4 new investigators again here. Our progressing investigator has a problem about recognizing the spirit. He really wants to know if our church is ture. Of course, he needs to pray about it like what Moroni said. I'm really hoping that he'll be baptize.



Woah, I just can't belive taht they bought me an IPhone!!! They're so expensive here in Korea but they're famous. Even my american companions love it!!! They told me that I'm lucky coz I have it! It's the best phone in US!!! I'm excited to use it but I'm not gonna bring it outside coz reememeber I lost my phone before I went to MTC so coz of that, I'm afraid to bring phone. Even our phone here, I hate to bring it so I lte my companion to bring it everyday. Oh I sent you a post card for you guys...Have fun and see you in 4 weeks!!!

안녕하세요 여러번!!! How's Elder I mean Bro. Bosotros doing? What is he doing now? Hoping that he has a job now and doing great after mission. I'm kinda scare to go home but...WHATEVER! DOing great here in Seoul and having more fun serving the Lord.





It's Elder Bacarro from Korea Seoul Mission. I'm actually planning to send some of my clothes this week. Anyways, our week here was fun, sad and super rainy! So Humid!

 Monday, we went in a place called 목욕탕, it's a public bath place here in Korea so you have to be there taking showers and relaxing in a warm pool naked. It was fun but kinda weird. Tuesday, we pretty much did missionary work coz it's the best! I went on a splits with my zone leader in their area. met a Filipina on the bus while we were going to a member's house. Her name is Jinky from Pasig. She's here in Korea coz they have a branch office here in Seoul (INTEL). I talked to her and my tagalog totally sucked! She tought that I'm half pinoy coz of my accent and my hard time to talk in tagalog. She called us last night and wants to met with us but I referred her to our sister missionaries in our zone coz she doesn't live in our area. It was kinda weird talking to a girl coz asyou know were not allowed to talk to girls here in our mission. Wednesday, we had our district meeting and I trained about bearing testimony and A missionary without eloquence. It went good! That day was so rainy, hot and humid! My socks got wet so we decided to call some of our ptentials at our house. Thursday still the same, english class and ward correlation meeting. Our ward mission leader is sick! He really helps us a lot and want to push our ward to do missionary work. He also helps us to have dinner appointments to our members, but the ward already doin that to us. They feed us a lot here!



Friday, we found another 2 new investigators! Miracle! The lady is a chatter box. She just talked a lot about this and this and that, but the husband was kinda flaky but they're both nice. They're working in a TV station here in Korea(KBS). They adopted a cat from street which is nice:D Saturday was intense, we met our 3 investigators including our investigator from Myanmar. We found out that he's the President of their church in Myanmar, scary but we are the Lord's true representative and this church is true so we relly testified to him with boldness. At night, we had dinner from our member and they treated us in a buffet!!! Super good food and masarap, hehehehe....We shared about families. Yesterday was kinda sad coz our favorite young men here is going to America for school. He's the best guy ever and her mom is our missionary mom here. They help us a ton and we love them. He'll go to America today and stay there for three years. Our progressing investigator came to church late so it was fine. Still good for his baptism for this coming July 29, please pray for him. I'm excited!!!



We just got visit from our zone leaders in our apartment today. We just planned for the trainiong this coming wednesday. Tomorrow will be ou temple day! We will hang out with our investigator today in Incheon China town! I think we will eat some chinese food! Sick!!!

Interviews from our new Mission President

안녕하세요 나의 가족!!!


How's it goin up 'er? It's me again from Korea Seoul Mission. We rains for the past 4 days but they're not that bad as last year. I love 장마(jang-ma) as they call it in korean(monsoon) this year, i's coll and not warm. Still kinda sucks coz it's hard to talk to people on the street so we just call our potential investigator records. We clean our house if it is raining outside. Today is rainy and feels good outside, 20 degrees celcius.




Last Monday, I hanged out with my MTC batch because some of them will go home this coming August 3. We had hotdogs and barbeque!!! Cheeze awesome! We just talked our MTC memories and just played card games like PHASE 10 and UNO. It was fun. Tuesday night, we had a dinner appointment from our member. His name is 이상래. He's the 2nd conselor in the stake presidency here. Her daugher served her mission in Seattle. We talked about her mission. My comp and I surprised for her planners especially the weekly goals, it was different a lil' bit. She met some Filipino missionaries up there. Wednesday, it was our Combined District meeting at 화곡 area. We talked about the Doctrine of Christ and our purpose as a missionary. We gave trainings from us(missionaries). I talked about the Book of Mormon and Opening the Heavens. It's an article form Elder Yoshihiko Kikuchi of the Seventy. I did some splits in my district so I went to 개봉 with Elder 기민수. We had some fun and visited a lot of their members. At night, I just gave a training about baptimasl commitments.



Thursday, we met our inveestigator, 기민준. We played pinpong with his firend, 주항. He's our member in our ward. Sad coz he's going to America next week for school. He's our favorite young men in our ward. Pretty much at night, English class and ward correlation meeting.



Friday, our interviews with our new Mission President. It was weird coz it was in English and reall awesome. We just basically talked my plans in my last transfer. I kinda cried in that interview because he said some things and some advices that I can do more. He thanked me in my leadership as a district leader. I love President Christensen! His wife was there too but she's waiting in another room. She's cool and brought us chocolates, sweet!!! Anyways about the interviews, we talked about setting vison that I can set and do in my last transfer. He said also about not being trunky because he really doesn't want missionaries get trunky.



Saturday was a busy day! We had soccer game with our ward. We met 2 new investigators and one of them is really interested in English. Then at night, we commited Mr. Bong to be baptize on July 29 and... He accepted it! He's so humble and really wants to change his life. I was so happy because I really really want baptism in my lst part of my mission. Me and my companion was so happy for him! He came to church yesterday.



We had dinner appointment last night at our member's house with our former bishop and his family and of course with Mr. Bong!!! It was good coz they taugh him about temple work and he loved it! He expressed his feelings about his father's death so we told him that through his gospel he will see him again. I'm just really grateful for this gospel and I know it is true!

JANGMA!!!

Jang-Ma is here!!!




Good Morning my wonderful family. This is Elder Bacarro again reporting from Seoul Korea. Another week passed by and a new week has started. If you're doing some countdowns at home, I still have 9 weeks left in my mission. It's still long so don't make me trunky. Even some of the missionaries are trying hard to make me trunky but... Sorry, I can't.



It was an adventurous week. We had a Meet the Mission President conference last Friday...It was ackward coz the trainings are all in English and he's american! President Christensen talked about obedience and some mission rules. We will have interviews with hime this Friday and I'll talk about my district. At that day my companion got sick. We were at the subway when he started sweating a ton and having some stomach pain. I was nervous a lil bit so I just comforted him and stopped in a subway station. The bad thing was it so rainy at that day. Jang-Ma as they call it here already started. We got some rains from Wednesday to Saturday morning. Rain here doesn't stop and it pours a lot. Reminds me back home. Is it rainy in us now?



Hah we met a new investigator last Thursday! His name is Mr. Bong, he's korean but I forgot his korean name. We met him on the street. he went to Philippines before for business and he loved it. He wants to come back but because of his job. He has a problem, his wife left him coz when he went back to Korea from Philippines, he saw their house dirty so he argued to his wife and slapped her face, cheeze, so the next day he just saw his wife not in their bed. We taught him about Restoration and how this gospel will help families to be happy. We commited to him to be baptize and he said he will!!! Yeah hopefully he will baptize. I want to get baptism before I'll go home.

Rain rain!!!

Hello my dear Family!!!




Thanks that you got the package, I'm sending another one and my luggages are already set to go! Hahaha, it's ok because my plan is I'll stay for a while in Philippines coz I was at outside the country for two years and I'll maybe take the one in February exam. I'm planning to get a job there so that I can save money for schooling. Hahaha, I don't know bout mine if I'll talk in tagalog to all of you. Did he share his testimony???



Cheeze, about here in Korea, at last we got rain last saturday and yesterday which made the weather comfortable, but it's hot here again and so humid! I miss tropical, ocean breeze. We've seen some miracles last week. We have a new investigator and they're family! The father used to come to english class in one of the areas in our mission..15 years ago so he knows the missionaries and about our church. i'M PUMP NOW! Then, I met some filipinos. The one is from Taal, Batangas. He lives way down south of the country so I can't teach him. I referred him to Daejeon Mission.



Oh we had tons of dinner and lunch appointments here from our members! My favorite one was the last tuesday, our Bishop's wife bounce us iin this fancy buffet worth 26 dollars plate!!! Almost 900 pesos in our money and I ate a lot especially steak!!! Tons of food and you can eat all you can. Sushi, just everything!!!



We went to Incheon last Friday for my comp's korean visa and I saw the port but it was kinda dirty:(....

President Lee's last week...Welcome President Christensen!

President Lee's last week...

Last week was intense...Don't have to say a lot...Wednesdays was our transfers and I only have 1 left which is really weird and really crazy of...My new companion is Elder Scott Messick from Orange county, CALIFORNIA. He goes home next year and we're co-seniors but I'm the district leader here!!! Yes!!! You'll receive a mail from our office about that and my travel plans so inform me AGAIN if you guys got a letter from our mission. About  travel plans, just email to me everything what's in there, just about the airline what flight am I going to because families are the first one who get that letter.

Well it's a humid, hot and drought here in Korea. We didn't get rain here so far so it's always hot and sunny. It

's crazy that I'm the district leader in my last part of my mission. Yeah...Elder Duke is now in Incheon as a zone leader. What else, oh, we saw some miracles last week too, a random lady called us and wanrts to come to our english class so she came and went to my class. I had an impression to talk about the Book of Mormon and it surprised me! She told me that she wants to learn about the book and she downloaded the Pearl of Great Price and Doctrine and covenants in our church's site! She listens to it every day! We will meet her this coming thursday and hopefully she will get baptize!

We had a dinner with our progressing investigator Jin Min Jeong and we ate samgyeopsal at their rooftop. Freak sweet!!! We talked a lot about missionary work and the Book of Alma.

Yesterday, we went you Yeongdeungpo for our Mission President's farewell meeting for the members here in Seoul area. It was emotional when he asked us to stand(all the missionaries) and told the members how proud he is to us and how he loves us so much then he cried. He told the members how hard missionary work especially financial. He said that we have a hardtime in transportation too because it's sooo expensive so he ask the members to help the missionaries a lot. He emphasized also that we can baptize even we're not good at korean. I was so happy when he said that to all the members here in Seoul Mission! We cried(missionaries) but life still go on!

During our church, members invited us to visit their house and have a lunch and dinner. So this week, our schedule is totally packed. Were still finding people to teach and so good doing this work. I feel sometimes that I don't want to go home because I love this work but I need to go back... 

okay that's all the highlights for the last week. Still hot and humid!!! I miss tropical coz it's windy in us! LOVES!!! Good luck to your job kath and say hi to mom and dad.

Hello 나의 가족!!! Last week was so sad and spiritual. Last wednesday, we

had our last zone conference with our beloved Mission President and

his wife. It was sad because we love him and they're great people!

When Sister Han gave her last message to us, we are all started

crying, she talked about reading the scriptures daily and how her

mission change her a lot. She expressed how she loves us. President

Lee cried too and it was my first time to see him crying.He talked how

the 3 years gone by so fast and he can't believed that his calling as

a mission President is done. It was really emotional. We sang God Be

With You Till We Meet Again and at the last verse, we (missionaries)

standed and sandg it with conviction for him. It was really emotional.

After the closing prayer, we were all quiet and didn't prepare for

lunch, we just stared at him and his wife.Ah!!! I will miss him!!!

Then after the conference, he gave us hug and saying goodbyes.ㅜ.ㅜ...



At that day too, I had splits with my zone leader because he's going

home. We ate DOG MEAT!!!!!! Yes!!!! Dog meat!!! They're investigator

treated us in a dog resto and at first I didn't want too. When I ate

the meat, it was weird but after that bite, I liked it. It tasted like

goat meat and so soft!!! We went back to our area and visited the

filipina member. It was fun.



The next day, I went to Shiheung for splits again! It was so hot and

so humid!!! I really don't like summer here, I like summer in us coz

it's windy. Me and Elder Kim had some success and at night, we met

they're less-active member and told me about some dirty stuffs so I

just laughed. Friday, I went back at last in my area with Elder Duke.

We were both tired but still, work continues! We found some miracles

in our proselyting. We found 4 new investigators!!! I was so happy!!!



Yesterday, we had our ward conference and tons of people came. Ok I

forgot to tell you guys that our ward is pretty big, we have 150

members every sunday and yesterday, we had 180!!! This ward is huge

because of kids... We had lunch after and still,...lots of people.



This week will be our transfers. Cheeze, I'll stay here maybe with my

last companion in my mission!!! Elder Duke will maybe transferring to

another area. I only have a another transfer!!! Soooooooooo scary!!!



I took the exam and let's see the results... LOVES. PEACE.



ELDER BACARRO

100 day mark!!!

Hello Bacarro Family!!!

We just spent that 50 dollars coz we didn't have food at our house. Things are doing great here though sometimes it's hard. Dang, I got my 100 day mark in my mission last Thursday so I only have 95 days left!!! So crazy! Hopefully, someone will send me letters in my last two transfers, NO ONE SENT ME A LETTER for the last 7 months, Hahahaha!!!

We saw some miracles last week like people calling us and wants to meet. Gimpo Elders called me and said that they have a Filipino member in their ward so they asked us to go there and meet this guy. We met him, he's from Dipolog??? I actually don't know where's that place. He's been here in Korea for a year and working in Incheon. It was weird because I never talked in tagalog for the last 2 years so I had a hard time when I talked to him. I FORGOT SOME TAGALOG WORDS!

Our mission President is going home soon! We will have a zone conference this wednesday for his last testimony as a Mission President. Our new Mission President is from  US, President Brent Christensen, I'm not sure about his name but it was sounds like that. I'm excited but sad! I love President Lee.
